Grading Day Success at Kato Martial Arts!
This past Sunday, the mats at our Hornchurch martial arts academy were buzzing with focus, determination, and incredible spirit. Our students stepped up to demonstrate the skills they’ve been tirelessly drilling, and we are absolutely thrilled to announce the results of our latest grading!
Grading is never just about learning the physical techniques; it’s a rigorous test of mental discipline, focus, and a student’s commitment to the Kato Student Pledge. Every single student on the mats this weekend showed exactly why they belong at Kato Martial Arts. From executing crisp line work to demonstrating controlled free fighting (Tooi Ta) and precision board breaking, the standard was exceptionally high.
It takes real courage to stand in front of Master Fowden and the grading panel, set your stance, and perform under pressure. We couldn’t be prouder of the respect, resilience, and power demonstrated by all.
