The Biggest Celebration Yet! Kato Martial Arts Christmas Party 2025
What. A. Night!
We always say that Kato Martial Arts is more than just a club. It is a family. Nowhere was that more obvious than at our 2025 Christmas Party. It was officially our biggest party yet, packed with incredible food, great music, and an atmosphere that you just can’t fake.
It was the perfect way to celebrate a year of hard work, grading successes, and the massive growth of our club in Hornchurch.
Magic, Music & Mayhem We kicked things off with some serious entertainment. A huge thank you to Darren McQuade (The Magic Ghostbuster) for a magic show that left the kids (and the adults!) scratching their heads in amazement. We also had a fantastic performance from Harry G, showing that our students have talent both on and off the mats!
The energy stayed high thanks to Jecks and KA, who ran the party games with expert precision. Organising that many excited ninjas is a martial art in itself! To top it off, we gave away a record number of raffle prizes to lucky winners throughout the night.
The 2025 Awards Ceremony While the party is about fun, the evening is also about recognising the hard work, discipline, and spirit of our students. The standard this year was incredibly high.

A Special Surprise for Master Fowden The night ended with a very special presentation. The students surprised Master Fowden with a handmade book filled with drawings and messages from the team. It is a keepsake that captures exactly what this club means to everyone.
And finally, a MASSIVE thank you to Diana for organising everything! 👏👏 The night simply wouldn’t have happened without your hard work and planning. You are a superstar! 🌟
We also presented him with a brand new, custom-embroidered Black Belt featuring his name and the club name in Chinese embroidery. It was a fitting tribute to his leadership and dedication to every single student.
Bring on 2026! Thank you to everyone who came, everyone who helped organise, and everyone who has trained with us this year.
