After many years as Tang Sou Dao Hornchurch, we’re excited to officially continue our journey under a new name: Kato Martial Arts.
This change reflects our desire to grow, evolve, and create something truly our own — while still honouring the roots and principles that have guided us since day one.

Our time as Tang Sou Dao Hornchurch has been filled with incredible memories, hard-earned belts, and a growing martial arts family we’re proud of. As our club developed and our community expanded, we realised it was time for a fresh identity — one that reflects the unique energy, creativity, and vision of our students and instructors.
The name Kato Martial Arts symbolises agility, strength, and character — qualities we strive to build in every class.
